Katie Gaucher, MScPT

Physiotherapist

Katie was born and raised in Grande Prairie and is excited to have returned home to give back to the community that raised her. 

Katie graduated from the University of Alberta where she earned the Dean's Medal in Rehabilitation Medicine for her outstanding academic achievement, graduating at the top of her physiotherapy program in 2022. 

Katie has obtained her post-graduate certification in IMS Dry Needling in order to expand her skills and treatment options. Katie's interest in therapeutic exercise prescription and her passion for client-centered care helps empower her patients to move better and feel better.

In her spare time, Katie enjoys spin & yoga classes at Elevation, hiking, cuddling with her dog Moose, and watching way too much reality TV with her loving husband/best friend.

Alysha Creaghan, MScPT

Physiotherapist

Alysha was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta and now calls Grande Prairie home. She earned her Master’s degree in Physiotherapy with distinction from Keele University in England. In addition, she holds certification in the Good Life with Osteoarthritis: Denmark (GLA:D) program, which utilizes evidence-based exercise and education to support individuals managing hip and knee osteoarthritis.

Alysha grew up playing and coaching ringette, where her own injuries from sport sparked an interest in the human body and injury rehabilitation. Alysha enjoys helping her patients reach their goals and return to meaningful activities. She prioritizes an individualized and patient-centered approach to treatment and believes in pairing exercise-based rehabilitation with manual therapies and client education to get patients back to doing what they love.

Outside the clinic Alysha enjoys hiking and skiing in the mountains, coaching ringette, enjoying a nice cup of coffee and stealing cuddles from her in-laws dog Dugg!

Dylan White, MScPT

Physiotherapist

Dylan, a local to Grande Prairie, grew up with a passion for sport and physical activity, leading to his pursuit of a career that reflected his enthusiasm for an active lifestyle.

Dylan attended the University of British Columbia Okanagan, receiving a Bachelor of Human Kinetics on the Dean's Honor Roll. He continued his education, completing the postgraduate physiotherapy program from Keele University, England with distinction.

Dylan's professional focus is using exercise prescription in conjunction with manual therapy to deliver patient-centered care, helping build confidence in his patients ability to reach their functional goals.

Outside his professional life, Dylan enjoys rock climbing, volunteering in youth sports, checking countries off his travel list, and keeping up with professional sports.

June Almocera, MScPT

Physiotherapist

June is an adventure-driven individual who embodies both energy and calm. Originally from the Philippines, she has spent the past five years building her life in Canada—beginning in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, and now calling Grande Prairie home.

She applies a rehabilitation-focused approach that integrates targeted therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and patient education to address the underlying causes of dysfunction—not just the symptoms. Her goal is to guide each patient through a structured recovery process that supports optimal healing, reduces the risk of re-injury, and restores overall function and quality of life.

Outside of the clinic, June enjoys staying active through hiking and training as an amateur CrossFitter, while also appreciating quiet time at home relaxing with her favorite shows.

Haley Walker, RMT

Registered Massage Therapist

Haley is a registered massage therapist who graduated in November 2025 and specializes in deep tissue and sports massage. Haley is known for her precise techniques and client focused approach, she helps athletes and active individuals recover faster, prevent injury, and perform at their peak.

Outside the clinic, Haley fuels her own active lifestyle through fitness and hiking with her two dogs, enjoys coffee and a good book, and cherishes time with her partner and two kids.

Kara Uhryn, RMT

Registered Massage Therapist

Kara has been a dedicated practitioner since 2016, graduating from the Alberta College of Massage Therapy. Her professional journey is marked by a vast range of clinical experiences, including sports therapy, multidisciplinary rehabilitation, and private studio ownership.

Kara is particularly skilled at adapting to diverse environments, having provided high-level care in high-stakes remote settings such as heliskiing operations and remote lodges. Her well-rounded background ensures she can pivot between therapeutic deep tissue work and restorative recovery, providing evidence-based care tailored to the individual needs of her clients.

Howl is a Registered Massage Therapist with advanced training in RAPID NeuroFascial Reset (RAPID NFR). RAPID is a movement-based manual therapy that combines targeted hands-on treatment with active movement to address pain, tension, and movement restrictions, helping patients restore mobility and function.

Whether you're recovering from an injury, managing persistent pain, or simply looking to move more comfortably, Howl provides individualized, evidence-informed care tailored to your goals. He is committed to helping patients return to work, sport, and the activities they enjoy with greater confidence and improved function.

Alana O'Brien, R.Ac

Registered Acupuncturist

Alana is a Registered Acupuncturist who graduated from Pacific Rim College in Victoria, BC. She loves helping people feel their best inside and out and is especially passionate about supporting digestion, emotional health, and women’s reproductive wellness. Using a mix of acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, and moxibustion, she tailors each session to meet her patients’ unique needs.

Outside of the clinic, Alana enjoys hiking in the mountains, getting creative with painting and pottery, or curling up with her cat Lacey and a good book.

Sonali Thakur

Kinesiologist/Physiotherapy Assistant

Born and raised in India, Sonali came to Canada full of dreams and has been living in Grande Prairie for the past three years. She is excited to continue growing and giving back to the community she now proudly calls her second home.

Sonali is currently completing her Kinesiology diploma at Northwestern Polytechnic and will be graduating in April of 2026. As a Physiotherapy Assistant and soon-to-be Kinesiology graduate, she is passionate about helping others improve their well-being through movement and care.

Sonali is known for her warm and helpful nature, always making people feel welcome, comfortable, and cheerful. Her positive attitude and client-focused approach allow her to create a supportive and encouraging environment for everyone she works with. In her spare time, Sonali enjoys trying new things and embracing each day with energy and enthusiasm. She loves living life to the fullest and values ending her day with a sense of happiness and calm.

Rehab & Wellness Coordinator

Tammy comes to Flex Physio & Wellness with over 20 years experience in the medical and healthcare field and four of those in the physiotherapy world. She is often the first face you will see as you enter our space. She combines empathy, organization and genuine care in everything she does.

Originally from Nova Scotia and now proud to call Grande Prairie home, Tammy is passionate about helping create a space where people feel safe, supported and truly seen. Whether coordinating care, navigating insurance or simply offering a listening ear, she leads with heart and integrity.

She finds joy in quiet mornings, spending time with her granddaughter Sophia (her greatest inspiration and sunshine in human form), and having meaningful conversations that spark connection.
