At Flex Physio & Wellness, we offer direct billing to most major extended health insurance plans, WCB Alberta, and motor vehicle accident (MVA) insurers. Direct billing means we submit your physiotherapy claim directly to your insurer on your behalf — you pay nothing out of pocket beyond any co-payment or amounts above your plan limits.
We direct bill the following: Alberta Blue Cross, Sun Life, Great-West Life (Canada Life), Manulife, Desjardins, Chamber of Commerce, Green Shield Canada, CINUP, ClaimSecure, Cowan, GroupHEALTH, GroupSource, Industrial Alliance, Johnston Group, Maximum Benefit, Equitable Life, CBP Health, ClaimsXchange, First Canadian, Medavie Blue Cross, Telus Adjudicare, RWAM, and others. WCB Alberta direct billing is available for approved workers’ compensation claims. MVA (motor vehicle accident) Section B benefit direct billing is available for Alberta auto insurance claims.
To use direct billing, bring your insurance provider name, policy number, and certificate/ID number to your first appointment. For WCB, bring your claim number and adjuster contact. For MVA, bring your claim number and insurer details. If your plan has coverage limits, we will inform you when you are approaching your annual maximum.
If your insurance is not listed or you are unsure about your coverage, our front desk can verify your benefits before your first appointment. We are committed to making physiotherapy as accessible as possible — dealing with insurance paperwork should not be a barrier to getting the care you need.
